Spongebob Weightlifter (Spongebob Squarepants)

A superhuman effort

Bob is thus represented here struggling to lift his bodybuilder’s bar. He is standing, wearing his usual clothes, brown pants with a white shirt and a red tie. He seems on the verge of tears and the effort makes him bite his lower lip. His long thin arms hold the bar that is still on the ground. This one is weighted with a pink stuffed rabbit and a blue teddy bear.

Not easy to be a sponge

Spongebob Squarepants is the hero of the famous cartoon of the same name. He is, as his name suggests, a sponge living at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in the town of Bikini Bottom. He lives in a pineapple close to his friend Patrick the starfish living in a pile of sand. Although the series was originally intended for children, its wacky and extremely offbeat tone made it popular with adults as well. In one of the episodes of season 1, Bob wants to impress Sandy the squirrel with his muscles, but he has trouble lifting his bar weighted down with two stuffed animals. She then tells him that he must train much harder if he ever hopes to have real bodybuilder’s muscles.
