A glamorous vampire

The Countess is represented with the famous red dress worn by the actress Lady Gaga on the first photos of season 5. We find this red reminding the glamorous side of the 20s/30s of the character. The dress is split up to the top of the thigh, one of her legs is visible and we can also see her matching red shoes whose details are nicely reproduced. With that, she wears her famous silver and glittery glove on her left hand. On the face, we can recognize this particular makeup around the eyes and, for once, Funko decided to draw a very red lipstick mouth with a flow of blood to remind that she is a vampire. Finally, her blonde hair styled in the 30’s is also very well represented.

The actress turned vampire

The Countess, whose real name is Elizabeth Johnson is one of the main characters of the fifth season of the series American Horror Story. The action takes place in a strange hotel in Los Angeles with unusual residents. Built by a notorious criminal in the 1930s as a torture chamber, it now belongs to Elizabeth. In the 1920s, she was a famous actress who had an affair with the actor Rudolph Valentino. The actor’s wife infected Elizabeth with a virus that turned her into a vampire, making her immortal but forcing her to feed on human blood. During the season Elizabeth will turn several people into vampires including Holden, the little boy of a policeman who took a room at the hotel for a few days.
