Another facet of Mickey

On the occasion of the 90 years of the character, Funko has created a series of figurines of Mickey through the ages and the various short films in which he appeared. For this one Mickey is represented as a gamer” with a brightly colored outfit. He is sitting cross-legged and holding a controller in his hands. He is wearing yellow sneakers, a blue sweater and red shorts. On his head he wears a yellow and white headset which, it should be noted, is not actually placed on his ears but on the sides of his head.

A hero of all times

Mickey is the cult animated character of the Disney studios, which is also the mascot almost since its inception. Mickey was born in 1928 by Walt Disney himself when the studios lost the rights to Oswald the rabbit and absolutely needed a new mascot. Mickey is an anthropomorphic mouse who moves like a human and speaks with his famous high-pitched voice. We first meet him in the short film steamboat willie and he has since had his own feature film (Fantasia) as well as hundreds of other short films and even TV series. Despite his great age of 90 years, Mickey is still very present in the Disney universe in all its forms.
