BB8 is one of the important characters of the first episode of the new trilogy Star Wars: The Force Awakens. BB8 is an astromech droid who has the particularity to move by rolling. He is initially the co-pilot of the resistance pilot Poe Dameron. He will meet Rey and Finn on the planet Jakku
