Ginny Weasley Quidditch (Harry Potter)

A real Gryffindor

For this figurine, exclusive to Barnes & Noble stores, Funko decided to represent Ginny with her quidditch outfit and since we don’t see her wearing it until the sixth movie, she is most probably taken from a scene in Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince”. She is wearing the full quidditch outfit with the brown shoes and the matching leggings and arm guards. Then, of course, she wears this shorter wizard’s dress with the Gryffindor colors and thus adapted to the practice of quidditch. In her right hand, she is holding her broom, the details of which are nicely represented. Finally, at the level of the head, we can recognize her long red hair, typical of the Weasleys.

A promising youngster

Ginny Weasley is the youngest of the large Weasley family in the famous literary and film saga Harry Potter, the story of the little English orphan who learns overnight that he is a wizard. Ginny is a year younger than her brother Ron, Harry Potter’s best friend, and she doesn’t really appear in the story until the second film when Lucius Malfoy slips Tom Riddle aka Voldemort the enchanted diary. As the years go by, the young Ginny turns out to be more and more brilliant, almost matching Hermione. Later on, Ginny even joins the quidditch team as a chaser and this is part of what will bring her closer to Harry even if this aspect is not very developed in the movies.
