Oogie Boogie is the big bad of Halloween town in the stop motion cartoon Mr. Jack’s Strange Christmas by Disney Studios, based on an idea by Tim Burton. The town of Halloween is populated by witches, vampires, skeletons and all sorts of other monsters who come in good spirits and expect the Halloween party all year round. Oogie Boogie lives in the basement of the city and scares everyone. He’s a kind of mobster that nobody wants to upset, but he can also be asked for favors and nothing happens without his knowledge. He is a kind of bogeyman made of a canvas bag filled with all kinds of bugs. When Jack Skellington finds out about the Christmas party, Oogie Boogie asks his minions to go get him that famous Santa.
