The knight in golden armor

Seiya is shown here with the golden armor that he wears several times in the series. Unlike his classic armor, this one is golden and covers his entire body. It is composed of many plates articulating with each other and we find particularly imposing shoulder pads. On his back, he wears large golden wings referring to Pegasus and he holds in his hands a bow with an arrow notched and ready to be shot. On his head, he has brown hair styled in spikes on the top of his head and he wears a golden helmet open on top and looking more like a tiara.

Seiya is the central character of the manga and the anime The Knights of the Zodiac (Saint Seiya in VO). He was recruited when he was still young to train at the shrine in Greece to become one of the 88 knights serving the reincarnation of the goddess Athena to fight together against the forces of evil. He was trained by the golden knight of the lion and, showing great promise, soon reached the rank of bronze knight. And although he is only a bronze knight, he is one of the most powerful and has shown himself to be stronger than some of the golden knights on several occasions. He also had the honor of wearing the golden armor of Sagittarius during some exceptional events. His main motivation for joining the knights’ training was Saori’s promise that she would help him find his missing sister. Despite this, he still took his role very seriously and became one of the most powerful knights.
