Zelena (Once Upon A Time)

Zelena without her green skin

Zelena is represented here without her green skin but with the wicked witch dress that we see her wearing most often in season four when she is in the fairy tale world. We find this long black dress and tight, flared down. On the top of these, the tone on tone embroidery are very finely reproduced. With that, she wears a kind of short cape with a degraded cut. Her hands are placed on her hips and are covered with long green gloves. At the level of the head, her face is very simple but we find her beautiful red hair styled in a bun on the side and of which a curly lock exceeds. She wears her witch’s hat a little arranged to be a little less caricatured than the original. Finally, a great attention to detail is given to this very nice figurine as we find her green earrings matching her necklace.

The Wicked Witch of the West

Zelena is an important character of Once Upon A Time appearing since season 4 of the show. In this series, the world of fairy tales was plunged into the real world when Regina, the evil queen of Snow White, cast a spell that deprived everyone of their magic, made them forget who they were. The spell is lifted at the end of the season and everyone gets their memories back. In season 4, we learn that Regina’s mother had a first daughter before her, whom she had to abandon. This one discovered while growing up that she had powers like her mother. She was then rejected by her adopters and influenced by the evil Rumplestiltskin. She met other women with powers who tried to bring her back to the good side, but in the end she chose the side of evil and her skin turned completely green. This character is of course inspired by the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. She will try to take her revenge on Regina, jealous that her mother chose to keep her and not her.
