For this exclusive version of the character, Voldemort has been portrayed as he is when he returns in the fourth film. He wears a simple long black robe and his physical appearance is very degraded from what he was before. His skin is gray, he has no hair and almost no nose, giving him a bit of a snake look. His eyes are rimmed with gray and he holds his wand making it look like a bone in his right hand and pulls it out to show the mark on his left wrist. Nagini hangs around his neck, her long body dropping to the ground. Her mouth is open with an impressive row of teeth and her eyes are yellow.

A beautiful creature

As in the books, Hedwig is a snowy owl. She has white plumage with a few black lines on her wings and her feet are covered with down to be better adapted to the snow. It is represented standing, wings folded and head slightly turned for a more lively effect. The shorter feathers of her head are nicely represented with her small black beak partly covered.

A darker Dumbledore

As the children grow older, the Harry Potter stories become darker and this is also evident in the look of the characters. While in the first few films, Dumbledore looked like a classic wizard with a Santa Claus feel, by the third film his look is more sober and he begins to look more like Gandalf than Santa Claus. Here, he has been represented as he is at the beginning of the fourth film. We find this purple/grey wizard’s dress with finely represented embroidery. On the head, we find his small glasses worn low on the nose, his grey eyebrows and especially his long grey beard attached by a finely reproduced silver cord. He also wears on his long gray hair this strange little purple hat with silver embroidery. Finally, he holds in his hand his famous magic wand which we will learn later on has particular powers.

Like all patronus, this one is represented in a translucent blue plastic with some kind of filament showing the movement. A mother and her home

Funko has represented Molly Weasley alongside her house in this new Pop Town figure released for NYCC 2020. This one has a rather traditional stone house base with wooden windows, half-timbering and a tile roof that has seen better days. But what characterizes it is this sort of leaning tower that was added on top and probably only holds up with magic. It seems to be made almost entirely of wood and adds three more floors to the house, which contains mainly the children’s rooms and has windows and chimneys. Molly Weasley is shown wearing one of her very colorful outfits, a yellow skirt with stripes and patterns with a very 70s look. She is wearing a floral sweater and yellow shoes with matching heels. Her arms are crossed on her chest and she holds her wand with her right hand. Finally, we find the red hair characteristic of the Weasley family.

A beautiful bird

Fawkes is represented here in flight with his wings spread and standing above a thick yellow flame. This beautiful bird’s plumage is in the colors of fire in a gradient of yellow, red and orange but otherwise has many of the characteristics of an eagle with its long hooked beak and bird of prey talons. Its tail feathers are also very long, which can also make it look like a peacock when in flight.

Minerva McGonagall’s appearance changes very little throughout the series so the way she was portrayed was pretty obvious. As always, she wears a long black robe that can almost make her look like a nun at times. Over it, she wears her long dark green witch’s cloak with wide sleeves and a very fine texture. Her left hand is pointed forward and in the other one, she holds her wand. On the head, we can see the marks of age on her face: small wrinkles at the corners and under the eyes. Her eyelids are also more marked than the average pop figure. Her hair is almost completely hidden under her big pointed witch hat that she never leaves. The hat matches her coat and the embroidered pattern is once again nicely represented.

A terrifying creature

Dementors are very mysterious creatures whose appearance we never really see because they are always wrapped in a big black hooded cloak. However, we can guess a skeletal appearance from their hands and what we can sometimes guess under their hood. This aspect is particularly well rendered Funko. Indeed, we can see this large tattered dress with skeletal hands that protrude and a slightly visible rib cage. At the head level, we can guess the face of a skeleton under a slightly transparent black fabric whose effect is particularly well rendered. Only his mouth without lip is free in order to be able to suck the soul of the condemned.
