Cyborgs with different origins

Cybermen are enemies of the Doctor in the famous science fiction series Doctor Who. In the first series, the Cybermen were basically men from the planet Mondas. Having implanted more and more electronic elements, they became cyborgs, abandoning all human feelings for a constant thirst for violence. In the new series, their evolution is the same, but they come from a parallel universe.
