A familiar silhouette

The famous silhouette of the green ogre, inspired by a famous French wrestler from the beginning of the 20th century suffering from acromegaly, Maurice Tillet, is back. As in the cartoon, he wears very simple white and brown clothes. We find in particular this tunic worn with a very small brown leather vest. Of course his skin is green. At the level of the head, we find this so particular shape and Funko chose to deviate from the usual triangular shape that it gives to the noses of its characters to remain more faithful to the character. Finally, we find of course his ears with the so particular shape.

Shrek is the hero of the animated films of the Dreamworks studio, Shrek 1, Shrek 2, Shrek the third and Shrek there was an end. Released in 2001, Shrek tells the story of Shrek, a green ogre. Having always loved his life of solitude in his swamp, Shrek finds himself one day invaded by magical creatures. Indeed, they have been expelled from Lord Farquaad’s kingdom and have decided to take refuge in Shrek’s swamp. Shrek then goes with a talking donkey, which he saved against his will, to Farquaad’s castle to get his swamp back. They make a deal: Shrek can have his swamp back if he brings back Fiona, the princess he wants to marry. The problem is that she is imprisoned in a tower guarded by a terrible dragon. But once Fiona is rescued, things don’t really go according to plan!
