The Silence (Doctor Who)

The Munch painting

As in the series, the character of The Silence is always dressed in a very formal black suit with a black tie and a white shirt. But it is of course at the level of the head, inspired by the famous painting The Scream of Munch, that we recognize the character well. This half skeletal, half alien face is as disturbing as in the series and particularly successful.

A disturbing religious order

The Silence is a religious order in the new generation of the Doctor Who series. We follow the adventures of an alien named the Doctor, who travels through time and space in a ship shaped like an English police box: the TARDIS. The Silence are humanoids with a very strange physique who have influenced human history for thousands of years but whom nobody knows because they are forgotten immediately after talking to them but still keep the instructions they have given.
