Bernardo Silva, most often called simply Bernardo, is a Portuguese soccer player playing internationally. Born in 1994 in Lisbon, he began his training at the center of Benfica. In 2013, he won the Portuguese Junior Cup with his team before making his debut in the pros. He usually plays as a right winger, attacking midfielder or central midfielder. Fearing that he would miss playing time at Benfica, he transferred to AS Monaco in 2015. He impresses a lot with his technique and is quickly considered one of the revelations of his team. He stayed two years at AS Monaco before leaving for Manchester City with whom he signed a five-year contract.
