The Avengers reunited

This figurine is part of a collection of six figurines a little bit special since they represent this famous scene from the Avengers movie where the six heroes stand in a circle back to back ready to fight the Chitauri. Each figure is placed on a base and the six bases can be connected to each other. This one represents the streets of New York and you can see a flame behind Captain America. The latter is in the center of the base, holding his famous shield with a star in the center in his right hand. He is wearing his red, blue and white suit in the colors of the United States. This one is tight and mainly blue with red boots and a white and red belt. On his chest, we find a silver star. Finally, at the level of the head, one finds his blue helmet with the letter A on the face.

The first of the Avengers

Captain America, whose real name is Steve rogers, is one of the members of the Avengers in the comics and in the Marvel movies which are the adaptation. Steve Rogers was a skinny, scrawny kid who wanted more than anything to serve his country during World War II. After the military turned him down several times, he was contacted by a scientist who offered him to participate in tests for a drug that could make him much stronger and faster. It worked and Steve Rogers became Captain America, representing the war effort in the United States and engaging in numerous operations, including freeing prisoners of war and fighting Red Skull. But after his plane crashes, he is left for dead at the bottom of a frozen lake and is not recovered until more than sixty years later. SHIELD then offers him to join its ranks to fight the new threats to the United States. He will join heroes like Iron Man, Black Widow, Thor or Hulk to fight an alien invasion in New York.
