A heavenly assistant

Janet is shown here in the episode where she has been rebooted and starts to malfunction. She can only make cactus appear. She wears almost always the same outfit: a purple skirt with a matching sleeveless vest and a white blouse with purple patterns as well as blue shoes with high heels. At the level of the head, she has long brown hair always perfectly styled. Finally, she holds a small cactus in a pot.

Not a girl

Janet is one of the important characters in the series The Good Place. At the beginning of the series, Eleanor dies and finds herself in what she is told is The Good Place, that is to say paradise. She is given a tour of the place where she will live and her soul mate. Only there is one small problem, she has been mistaken for another woman of the same name who is far more deserving of her place in heaven. Janet is a full-fledged type of being who has all the knowledge of the universe inside her at any given time and can be called upon by anyone in the good place who needs information or to make anything appear to her. And although she has a feminine appearance, Janet insists that she is in fact not a woman but just Janet. In the course of the series, we will also discover that there is a Bad Place version of Janet.
