Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)

A pizza lover

Michelangelo is shown here eating a slice of pizza, as is often the case in the series. His body is light green and, being anthropomorphic, he is standing on his back legs” which look very much like human legs except for his feet which have only two big toes. He has a belt that allows him to store his nunchaku as well as knee and forearm protectors. One of his hands has a raised thumb and with the other one, he holds his slice of pizza. Finally, he has an orange blindfold around his eyes.

The coolest teenage mutant

Michelangelo is one of the main characters of the famous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles license and especially of the animated series. The concept was born in 1984 almost as a joke from its two creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird wanting to parody comics like The New Mutants and Daredevil with these anthropomorphic mutant turtles living in New York. But the idea was successful and it was developed as a toy in parallel to the comics before being finally adapted into a TV series following the few short films accompanying the toys. These teenage turtles are mutants living in the sewers of New York and fighting crime in all its forms. They are trained in martial arts by Splinter, a giant mutant rat who is their sensei. Michelangelo, named after the renaissance genius, is the most cheerful of the four. He is the most carefree one who is always in a good mood and likes to play pranks. He often has a California accent and a cool surfer vibe. He is also a big pizza lover.
