Ready for battle

Like his brothers, Raphael is shown in a fighting stance, holding his two sa?s, a kind of dagger with a wooden guard. His body is green and he stands on almost human legs except for his two-toed feet. He has a beige carapace and wears brown leather protections on his arms, knees and waist. He has a relatively realistic turtle head and wears a red bandana around his eyes. He has a rather aggressive expression.

The angriest turtle

Raphael is one of the main characters of the famous animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in VO) inspired by the toy series released in the 80s, itself inspired by the parody comic of the same name. Like his three brothers, he is an anthropomorphic mutant turtle living in the sewers of New York. The four of them were trained in martial arts by Splinter, a mutant rat who became their adopted father. Together they fight crime in the streets of New York. Raphael is the most violent and uncontrollable of the four, often provoking combat with multiple opponents. He resents the fact that Leonardo is their unofficial leader and is particularly resentful of the fact that he knows they are the only ones of their kind and will always be alone.
