A majestic creature

When he has the opportunity to grow the occamy is a majestic creature and so Funko has chosen to represent him on this super sized figure exclusively for SDCC 2017. His body with multicolored scales very finely reproduced, is represented a little rolled up on itself with the head well raised. On this one, we can see his beak giving him more the look of a bird as well as these two big golden horns typical of the classic dragons. A little lower on his body are attached two large bird wings in shades of pink and purple.

A creature more discreet than it seems

The Occamy is one of the magical creatures brought to the United States by Newt Scamander at the beginning of the movie Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. Set in the Harry Potter universe but taking place in the 1920s, this film tells the story of Newt Scamander, an Englishman who has come to the United States to complete his guide to the animals of the magical world. When he arrives in New York, one of the animals in his magical suitcase escapes and when he tries to find it, his suitcase is mistakenly exchanged with that of a Muggle and things only get worse when other animals escape. The Occamy is a sort of small, multi-colored winged dragon/snake with a bird’s head and golden horns. It also has the particularity to adapt to the size of the place where it is. So he can be very small and fit in a teapot but also dozens of meters long.
