Butters is a secondary character in the animated series South Park but becoming more and more important with each season. Like the heroes Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny, he is a student at South Park Elementary School. He is a polite and wise boy who often gets into trouble with the four boys because he wants to make friends. He is also a character in the video game The Stick of Truth. In this game, the player takes on the role of a new student who finds himself embroiled in a life-size role-playing game.
