Rio (La Casa De Papel)

The hacker

Rio is one of the main characters of the Spanish series La Casa de Papel. At the beginning of the series, the mysterious Professor recruits eight criminals to commit the most ambitious heist of all time. The goal is to break into the national mint in Madrid, take everyone hostage and print over two billion of their own completely untraceable bills. Rio was recruited for his hacking skills. He is the youngest of the gang and the one with the least criminal experience, having only hacked a few sites. His role will be to hack some systems of the place, to go on site to take notes on the different surveillance systems. He will also have to set up the professor’s HQ who will manage the operation from outside and buy weapons online without being detected. Then he will have to make sure that once inside, the police will not have access to any surveillance systems. While Rio will do a great job, he will also fall in love with Tokio with whom he will have a relationship, breaking one of the first rules of the Professor and making things very complicated.
