Saruman (The Lord Of The Rings)

Saruman the white

Saruman was originally the head of the order of wizards and therefore had the honor of having a white robe a little more luxurious than that of Gandalf. And this is represented here very well with this belt and its sleeves very finely decorated and slightly shiny. At the head level, we can see his thick black eyebrows that contrast well with his long white hair and his matching beard. Finally, he holds his wizard’s staff in his right hand and in the other the famous palantir, the vision stone that allowed Sauron to corrupt him.

Saruman the traitor

Saruman is an important character in The Lord of the Rings, the most famous heroic fantasy trilogy in the history of literature and film. It tells the story of a young hobbit whose mission is to destroy the famous ring of power in the mountain of destiny in order to prevent the terrible lord Sauron from taking power over Middle Earth. While he set out with a motley crew of men, hobbits, a dwarf, a wizard, an elf and several hobbits, he soon finds himself alone with his friend Samwise and they must fend for themselves while everyone else tries to counter the forces of the orcs of Mordor as best they can. Saruman is a wizard of the same order as the famous Gandalf and therefore theoretically on the side of the forces of good. Unfortunately, having spent too much time looking into the Palantir, the stone of vision, he was corrupted by Sauron and became one of the greatest enemies of the free peoples of Middle-earth.
