Terrible fate for Sirius Black

Sirius Black is Harry Potter’s godfather in the literary and cinematic saga of the same name. He was the best friend of his parents before they were killed by Voldemort. It was their other friend Peter Pettigrew who brought Voldemort to the Potters, but he cut off his finger and immediately turned into a rat and escaped to make it look like he was dead, thus incriminating Sirius Black. He was unjustly locked up in the terrible wizarding prison, Azkaban, for twelve years. We learn all the truth about this story in the third opus of Harry Potter when he manages to escape and does everything to find both Harry and Peter, who is in fact Ron’s rat.
