Like Daphne, Velma has a typical 60’s look but in a wiser and less trendy” style. We find her typical orange and burgundy outfit composed of a long sleeved sweater with a turtleneck and a short pleated skirt as well as low shoes and high orange socks Being probably the best investigator of the team, she is shown with a magnifying glass in her left hand. On the head, we can recognize her bobbed hair with thick bangs and big glasses with colored lenses.

The brain of the group

Velma is one of the heroines of the famous cartoon Scooby-Doo. This American cult series from the late 60’s tells the story of the investigations of the Mysteries and Company team composed of two young women, two young men and a big dog not very brave: Scooby-Doo. Their investigations always seem supernatural at the beginning but always have a plausible explanation in the end. Velma is the brain of the team and it is almost always her who solves the riddles.
