Wasp unmasked (Ant-Man And The Wasp)

The Wasp unmasked

For this chase figure, Funko decided to represent Hope with her costume but without the helmet that hides her face. As on the normal version of the figure, Hope wears this tight blue, gray and black costume with touches of red. Her mechanical metal wings are open on her back and she is in a fighting posture, one arm forward and her legs slightly bent. At the head, her brown hair is pulled back in a ponytail at the back of her face with two strands falling on the front of her face.

Finally the role she deserved

From her real name Hope Van Dyne, The Wasp is one of the heroines of the movie Ant-Man And The Wasp. She is a scientist who worked for the company that her father, Hank Pym, had created before being ousted. In the first film, they believe that one of their former colleagues is planning to sell the suit that Hank invented and allows him to shrink to the size of an ant, to evil customers. And while Hope had decided to use the suit herself to steal their colleague’s prototype, Hank decided to recruit Scott Lang, a brilliant thief with a big heart, much to Hope’s chagrin. By the end of the film, they have developed a relationship that is abruptly interrupted when he goes to help Captain America in a dangerous mission and finds himself under house arrest. In the second film, Hope has finally donned the Wasp costume and she and her father plan to go and retrieve their mother who has been stuck on the quantum plane for years, too small to return to her normal size. But when a mysterious character prevents them from getting the missing materials to finish building their machine, they will find themselves asking for Scott Lang’s help a little against their will.
