Heimdall (Thor Ragnarok)

A new look for Heimdall

Like the other characters in the film, Heimdall has undergone a makeover due to the fact that not only is he no longer an official guardian of Asgard, but also that the film is in line with the Guardians of the Galaxy with its very flashy 80s aesthetic. He wears an outfit mainly brown-pink whose details are very nicely represented. He wears brown boots with many straps and decorative details. On his shoulders, he wears a matching cloak whose meshes are particularly well reproduced and he holds his impressive two-handed sword, the only vestige he seems to have kept from his previous appearance. On the face, we find his black skin and his famous yellow eyes and his hair is now much longer with braids and a thick beard.

The guardian of the Bifrost

Heimdall is a character of the movie saga Thor, inspired by the comics of the same name. Heimdall is the guardian of the Bifrost, the passage that allows the inhabitants of the planet Asgard to go to any other planet. Because of this, he also has the ability, if he wishes, to see anything that passes anywhere in the universe. In Thor Ragnarok, Asgard has been attacked by the terrible Hela, guardian of the realm of the dead and the underworld, and the Asgardians find themselves in exile in the corners of the galaxy. Thor himself has been taken prisoner and, deprived of his hammer, he finds himself fighting as a gladiator. Heimdall’s role in the story is not yet known, but there is no doubt that he will fight alongside Thor to save Asgard.
