Captain America (Captain America Civil War)

Captain America gets colors again

This is already the fourth version of Captain America that Funko releases (not counting the exclusives without mask), so it starts to be difficult to differentiate them all. So if this one doesn’t differ much from the previous ones, we can still notice that Captain America is back to the bright colors of his costume from the first Captain America and the first Avengers. Gone are the de-saturated blue and the almost absent red of the last two movies. Steve Rogers is back in his bright blue suit, his white and red striped belt and the white star on his chest. As always he wears his brown gloves, his harness around the waist and shoulders and his black boots. On the head, not much change, he always wears his blue helmet and the A of America on his forehead. There is also an exclusive version of this character for Civil War where he takes a different pose more dynamic.

Captain America at War

Captain America is the hero of the films Captain America, Captain America The Winter Soldier and Captain America Civil War. In the 1940s, Steve Rogers was a young American desperate to join the military to fight in World War II. But due to his poor physical condition, he was always rejected. Then he was offered to participate in a scientific experiment that would give him superhuman strength, resistance and speed. He became Captain America. During the war, he fought Hydra but was left for dead after his plane crashed into a frozen lake. He was found almost 70 years later still intact and joined SHIELD, a government agency, and fought new dangers with the Avengers, other superheroes like Iron Man, Thor or Black Widow. In the second Captain America movie, he realizes that Hydra had not totally disappeared and had infiltrated SHIELD. In Captain America Civil War, he continues to fight in the new government agency founded by Nick Fury but an incident caused by his team will lead the government to distrust superheroes. The Avengers team will be divided in two camps, those who want to keep their freedom like Captain America or Scarlett Witch and those who want more control like Iron Man.
