Promising beginnings

Amanda Anisimova is an American professional tennis player of Russian origin. She was born in 2001 and grew up in Miami, Florida, where she was coached by her father Konstantin Anisimov. She reached the second place in the world in the junior circuit in 2016 and won the US Open junior tournament the same year. In the same year, she made her debut on the professional circuit and won her first major titles in 2019. She won the Bogota championship and reached the semifinals at the French Open.
