Davos Seaworth (Game Of Thrones)

A sober outfit

Since the beginning of the series, Davos always wears very similar and sober outfits despite his theoretical rank making him a member of the nobility. He wears a long green tunic with two large leather belts to which are attached his sword and the bag containing the bones of his cut phalanges. At the neck he has a piece of metal armor that shows that he is shown at the time of a fight. He is wearing simple black boots with matching pants. He is wearing brown gloves and we can see that the one on his right hand is smaller because of his missing phalanges. At the level of the head, we can see that his gray beard is strewn with white and that he is balding on the sides. On the face we can see wrinkles around the eyes that show his age.

A converted pirate

Davos Seaworth is a secondary but quite important character and has been a regular presence since season two of Game Of Thrones. Davos is a former pirate who found the right path when Stannis Baratheon, brother of the king, arrested him and after he suffered his sentence (having the first phalanx of one of his hands cut off), offered him to work for him in an honest way, even making him a lord. When King Robert Baratheon died and Stannis wanted to challenge the legitimacy of his son Joffrey, Davos remained loyal to Stannis and fought many times for him. On the other hand, he was always honest in telling him that he did not approve of Melisandre’s influence on him. He will be proven right as she pushes him to his doom and death but not before convincing him to sacrifice his own daughter, whom Davos has sworn to avenge. After that, having been with Jon near the wall and having protected his body while he was stabbed by his own men, he decides to join his army, deciding that his cause was probably the most just. He will come with him to meet Daenerys at Dragonstone and will follow him to the wall even if he will not go beyond it.
