Dr. Ian Malcolm, played by Jeff Goldblum, has become a cult figure largely due to his rather cartoonish rebel” look. He wears an all-black outfit with pants, a jacket with a shiny material and a shirt with an open collar revealing a blue pendant. His cowboy style shoes with a buckle on the inside complete his look. At the level of the head, we find well his black hair styled in the back as well as the sunglasses which never leave him.

A cult character

Dr. Ian Malcolm is one of the main characters in the cult movie Jurassic Park. The movie tells the story of a billionaire who managed to recreate dinosaurs from the DNA of a mosquito locked in amber. He then decides to make an amusement park on an island off the coast of Costa Rica but before opening to the public, he decides to bring in specialists to verify the safety of the project. He invited two paleontologists as well as Dr. Ian Malcolm, a mathematician specializing in chaos theory. The latter is very reluctant to the idea of the project because he thinks that it plays with the laws of nature. And indeed, in the evening, a technician corrupted by a competing company disables the security to steal DNA and several of the dinosaurs escape from their enclosure.
