Iron Man (Captain America Civil War)

A new Iron Man

Like Captain America, Iron Man has been represented many times in pop figures. So it’s starting to be difficult for Funko to differentiate them from each other. Iron Man is still evolving his armor a bit, but it seems that the one from Captain America Civil War is the same as the one from Avengers 2. On the other hand, this time he is not represented with his water vapour thrusters, which makes him less original but he is bigger and therefore more detailed. As always, we find this metallic red armor enhanced with touches of gold. The details of the different elements that fit together to form the armor are particularly well reproduced and this makes it the most faithful version of Iron Man made to date. It should just be noted that the energy source on his chest is represented a little differently this time.

Iron Man at war

Iron Man is the hero of the movies Iron Man 1, 2 and 3, one of the heroes of the Avengers movies and an important character of Captain America Civil War. Iron Man is the avatar of billionaire genius Tony Stark. Kidnapped by terrorists while he was an arms dealer, Tony Stark built, in secret, this armor that gives him great strength, allows him to fly and contains many weapons, to escape. He then used it as a defense system against the enemies of the United States and the entire planet. In the Avengers movies, he joined the Avengers team to fight a threat from outer space. In Captain America Civil War, he continues to fight with the new government agency founded by Nick Fury, but an incident caused by Captain America’s team will make the government suspicious of superheroes. The Avengers team will be divided into two camps: those who want to keep their freedom like Captain America or Scarlett Witch and those who want more control like Iron Man.
