Ned Stark (Game Of Thrones)

A man of the North

Ned Stark remains above all a warrior and a man of the North. So when he became the king’s hand and came to live in the capital city of King’s Landing, with its much milder climate, he did not change his habits. If he abandons his thick coat of wool and fur, his clothing remains composed of dark and cold colors. He almost always wears a brown leather tunic over a longer tunic of thick dark blue/grey fabric. This figure seems to be particularly inspired by the outfit he wears when he confronts Cersei Lannister about the real father of her children. Funko also didn’t forget details like the leather belt or his hand of the king” badge. He is depicted in a warrior’s stance with his gloves and his sword “Ice” whose proportions are a bit underestimated since it is normally carried in two hands and reaches his chin. His hairstyle and goatee are true to the character in the show (whereas in the novels Ned Stark is described as having hair as black as Jon Snow).

A man of honor

Eddard Ned” Stark is one of the main characters of the novels “A Song Of Ice And Fire” and the series “Game Of Thrones”. Played on screen by the very unlucky but talented Sean Bean, he will only participate in season 1 but his actions and his death will be the trigger for important events in the kingdom of Westeros and beyond. Ned Stark is the lord of Winterfell and the North, the last region that separates the realm from the wilderness beyond the Wall. At the beginning of the series, his friend King Robert Baratheon comes to visit him at Winterfell to ask him to replace their mutual friend and “Hand of the King” (the most powerful figure in the realm after the King) Jon Arryn, who has recently died under questionable circumstances. Ned Stark accepts out of friendship but also in order to investigate this mysterious death, especially with the queen and her family, the Lannisters, whom he has never trusted. And this is where the problems that will lead him to his death will begin. Ned Stark is a very respected man because he is good, fair and honorable, although rather cold. But it is also his excessive honesty and sense of honor that will lead to his downfall.
