Newt Scamander chase (The Crimes Of Grindelwald)

The author and his work

For this new chase version of the character, Funko has represented him holding a copy of his famous book on fantastic animals. He still wears his elegant gray suit with short pants, brown shoes and a light brown jacket. With this, he wears a bow tie and a long gray jacket. Finally, at the level of the head, we find his brown hair with a long lock in front of the forehead while the other side is cut rather short. The book with its gilding on a brown background is very nicely represented.

A heroic character

Newt Scamander is the main character of the Fantastic Beasts movies which are part of the Harry Potter universe and inspired by the book of the wizard Newt Scamander listing all the fantastic animals of the wizarding world. The films are set in 1920’s America when Newt first arrives to continue writing his book and to release one of the creatures he has been caring for into its natural habitat. In the second episode of the saga, Grindelwald has escaped from the prison in which Newt had been putting him and Dumbledore asks Newt to find him and in particular to find a mysterious object that links him to Grindelwald and seems to prevent him from taking part in the research for the latter. It is also the occasion for Newt to go back to the United States and see Tina Goldstein with whom he had become friends and had probably also developed love feelings.
