After learning that he could talk to women after drinking a little alcohol, Raj took the habit of always drinking a little whenever Penny or any other woman is around. Raj Koothrappali is one of the four hero boys of the famous sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Like the other boys of the show, he is a scientist, more precisely an astrophysicist, working for the university of Caltech in the United States and a passionate of comics and geek culture in general. Raj is of Indian origin and although he likes to say that he lived in poverty, his parents are actually very rich and continue to pay for his apartment despite his comfortable salary. Raj also has a peculiarity. He is so shy that he cannot speak at all in the presence of a woman. In the course of the series, however, he discovers thanks to Penny that he can if he has had even a drop of alcohol. And it is again thanks to Penny, several years later and after a heartbreak that he will realize that he can finally talk to women without alcohol.
