This figure is a Hot Topic exclusive and marks the third version of the Ron Weasley character (not counting the one sold with the pop ride). It represents Ron during his first year at school and especially at Christmas when he receives the famous sweater knitted by his mother. On the bottom, Ron wears a simple gray pants with brown shoes and on top, we find this famous dark red sweater with the letter Ron in yellow on the chest. As on Harry’s, the knitted texture of the sweater is particularly reproduced, which makes it a particularly successful figure. On the head, her face is very simple but we can recognize her red hair so characteristic of the Weasley family.

Ron’s first trip on the Hogwarts Express

The Hogwarts Express is the only train that allows wizarding students to travel to Hogwarts School. Funko has represented here one of the passenger cars. We find of course the red, black and gold colors of Hogwarts but the shapes are simpler than for the locomotive sold in pack with Harry Potter. The details are still faithfully represented, whether it is the wheels, the windows or the doors on the side of the wagon. The top is open to welcome Ron’s figure. This time he is represented with his classic clothes and not his wizard uniform. He wears gray pants, brown shoes, a blue sweater and a khaki green jacket. On the face, we can see the little spot of dirt that he has on the side of his nose when the two boys meet Hermione and his famous red hair. Finally, he holds in his hands a chocolate frog as well as his pretty blue and gold box very finely represented.

A great headmistress

Funko has of course represented her in a 15 cm supersized version for this exclusive figure of this great character. She is represented here with the outfit she wears during the ball held at the time of Yule in the film. It is a long pink dress with a texture reminiscent of scales, long sleeves and a cross neckline under which we can see a lace fabric. At the level of the face, we find her brown hair cut to the square as well as the rather marked make-up at the level of her eyes.

Elegance First

For this Barnes and Noble exclusive figure, Lockhart has been represented with another of his elegant three-piece suits. This one is dark blue with a matching tie and a blue/silver jacket to great effect. His more cape-like wizard’s robe is blue on the outside and blue/silver-gray on the inside. Lockhart stands here with his fists on his hips in a very proud and exaggerated posture. At the head, we find his blond hair slightly curled and falling artistically on the forehead.

Not the most terrifying form of Snape

For this NYCC 2017 exclusive figure, Funko has therefore chosen to represent the boggart taking the form of Snape and having undergone the spell of Neville. In terms of clothing it is therefore a very busy look of old lady. He wears a green suit with pink tights and black boots. He wears black mittens and a red handbag and his outfit has many details that are not really reassuring: a fur that looks like a cat holding a dead rat in its mouth around his neck, spiders on his jacket and a very large dead bird on his hat. It’s only at the head level that we really recognize Snape with his famous black hair cut in a square.

An adorable alternative

For this exclusive version of Professor McGonagall, Funko has decided to represent the character in her cat form. She is represented sitting quietly with her tail pulled forward. Her body is rather dark gray with almost black stripes and white spots on the chest, head, paw tips and muzzle. His little nose is pink as well as the inside of his ears.

An adorable house

For this new Pop Town, Funko has chosen to represent Hagrid’s famous little hut. It’s a small house of very basic design, octagonal in shape, made of stone with a brick roof partly covered with grass. It has a fireplace, several small windows and a rather rustic wooden door. There are a few steps to access the door and a miniature version of the house that serves as a niche. The whole is placed on a base representing grass. Finally, Fang is a kind of very big black bulldog with a light grey belly and big hanging lips. He has as always a slightly sad look and absolutely not dangerous.

The Noseless Wizard

Unlike the other characters, Voldemort is not represented in his version of the first films for the simple reason that he has, at that time, no real physical form. He is therefore represented in the form he takes from the fourth book/film (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire). If this form is human, his mind is so evil and tortured that it shows on his physique. His skin is sickly pale and he has no hair. But above all, he has almost no nose, which is reduced to two holes, which is reminiscent of the snake that always accompanies him and to which he can speak. His aspects are particularly well represented on the figurine. Funko even added dark circles, a mouth and volume to the eyebrows to make his face more expressive. His outfit will remain, until the end, the same as the one in which he came back to life: a simple long tunic covered with a dark gray/green wizard robe. These clothes are almost rags and refer to the degraded” state of his mind. Finally, he holds his wizard’s wand in his hand.

For this new version of Snape, Funko depicted him in the outfit he wears during the Yule Ball held in honor of students from other schools. He wears dark blue pants with black shoes and his usual long black dress is replaced by a knee-length jacket with white edges on his shirts. At the level of the head, we find his black hair half-long.

The ultimate representation of the wicked witch

Bellatrix is represented here with the outfit she wears shortly after escaping from Azkaban and which changes very little afterwards. As usual, she is dressed all in black with quite luxurious clothes that reflect the status of her family. She wears a black dress with tone-on-tone patterns very finely represented by Funko. On top of that, she wears a bustier very tight at the waist and closed by metal ties with very fine patterns and again very well represented by Funko. She also wears black pointed boots and many jewels around the neck or on the hands whose nails are painted in black. In her right hand, she holds of course her witch’s wand. At the level of the head, her face is rather simple but we find the reddened skin around her eyes which gives so bad mine. Her thick curly hair is also finely detailed and we find the few strands that escape and fall in front of her face.

Like the other ghosts in the saga, the Bloody Baron is depicted in a blue plastic that captures that translucent and uniform look. His elegant baron outfit is very well represented with his half-length coat, his heels and his thick curly wig. We also find the little details like his mustache, his eyes a little more opaque and finally, of course, the red bloodstain on the front of his clothes.

A dark period

For this exclusive version of the character, Sirius Black is represented with his Azkaban prisoner’s outfit in sepia version. We find this kind of black and gray striped pajamas and an old raincoat to try to pass a little unnoticed. In his hands, he holds his sign on which is written his prison number in Azkaban. At the head level, we find his beard and his moustache matched with his wavy and half-long hair. Around his eyes, we can see gray halos that mark his fatigue and his condition after being in prison for so long.
