A powerful potion

For this movie moment, Funko decided to represent the three sisters gathered around their cauldron in which their potion is boiling. The cauldron is placed on hot coals and inside, we can see a green potion. On the left, we find Mary Sanderson with her black and purple hair, her red cape and her black and white checkerboard dress. Winifred is the one who is making the potion and we can recognize her with her orange hair in a voluminous bun. Finally, on the right, we find Sarah Sanderson, the youngest of the three sisters with her long blond hair, her purple cape and her pale complexion.

Wicked witches

The Sanderson sisters are the three famous witches from the 90’s fantasy movie Hocus Pocus. In 1692, the three sisters kidnap a little girl in order to make her swallow a potion that will allow them to absorb her life energy to make them younger. It works, but the witches are then captured by the villagers and burned at the stake. They cast a spell and promise that one day a young virgin will light their black candle on Halloween night and bring them back to life. And indeed, 300 years later, Max, a young Californian who doesn’t believe in witches, lights the candle and brings the sisters back. But they only have until sunrise to recreate their famous potion and capture several children to take their life force or they will return to dust for eternity. But this is going to be more complicated than expected in a modern world they don’t understand and with Max and his friends to try to prevent them.
