The Knight with the Golden Hand

This version of the character is the character as he is dressed and styled during season 4 of the series. Finally arrived at his destination, his father made him a prosthetic hand in gold very finely reproduced on this figurine. Although he no longer considers himself a warrior, he still wears his sword at his waist, held in place by a nicely reproduced leather belt. Finally, when Jaime arrives in King’s Landing, he cuts his hair very short, shaves closely, abandoning the Prince Charming” aspect of his beautiful blonde hair. His face is simple with the usual black eyes but Funko thought to add the few scars he earned during his journey.

From hated character to beloved character

Jaime Lannister is one of the main characters of the novels A Song Of Ice And Fire” by George Martin and of the series “Game Of Thrones” which is the television adaptation. Jaime is the heir of one of the greatest families of Westeros fighting for power since the death of King Baratheon, and the war triggered by the killing of Ned Stark by the new king Joffrey Baratheon. We will learn very quickly during the series that, although he is officially Joffrey’s uncle, he is in fact his father since he has had an incestuous relationship with his sister Cersei Lannister/Baratheon since adolescence. At the beginning of the war, Jaime loses a battle against Robb Stark (Ned’s son) and is taken prisoner. But some time later, Catelyn, Robb’s mother, decides to release him in exchange for his promise to send back his two daughters, Sansa and Arya, whom she thinks are still prisoners in the capital with Cersei. She sends the impressive warrior Brienne of Tarth with him as an escort and assurance that he will keep his word. But before they reach their destination, their path will be fraught with difficulties and Jaime will show a whole new face. While he begins the series as a particularly loathsome character, over the course of the seasons he will have the opportunity to act more honorably, even becoming one of many readers’ favorite characters.
