Ant-Man et Ant-thony (Ant-Man)

A tiny flying mount

Ant-thony is not a Pop Rides like the others since it is neither a car nor a motorcycle but a flying ant! It has the body of an ant in two parts plus the head with two big black eyes and antennas that give it this cute side. Like any ant, it has six green legs degrading to light brown. But she also has two delicate wings nicely represented with a transparent plastic. On her back, she has a kind of metal handlebar that allows Scott Ant-Man” Lang to steer her. Ant-Thony is of course sold with the Ant-Man figure. This one is very close to his classic version with his red, black and silver Ant-Man costume. He can stand on Ant-Thony and his two hands are on the handlebars.

Ant-Man and his flying ant

Ant-Man is the hero of the Marvel Studios movie Ant-Man, adapted from the comic book of the same name. At the beginning of the film, Scott Lang is released from prison after spending three years there for hacking into a billionaire’s golden parachute funds to give back to the people the company ripped off. He tries to get back on the straight and narrow but can’t find a job. The friend who shelters him then proposes him a burglary. He accepts to make some money but when he gets into the safe of the house, he finds only a strange combination. Out of spite, he steals it and tries it. Pressing a button, he finds himself miniaturized and a voice in the headset explains that it was all a test and that the owner of the house has a mission for him. If he is at first panicked and tries to return the suit, he ends up accepting the mission. Indeed, the creator of the suit, Hank Pym, sold his company to a man who found a way to replicate this technology and intends to use it for bad purposes. He wants to destroy his research. The suit will also give Scott Lang the ability to control ants, which will be very useful in his miniature version. He will be particularly attached to a flying ant, which he will use as a mount, and which he will baptize Ant-Thony
