A cult version of the character

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the creation of the character, Funko created this 1989 version played by Michael Keaton. We find this very tight black suit whose muscles are drawn in a rather exaggerated way. He wears big boots as well as a golden belt and the badge of batman black on yellow. He also wears black gloves and a long black cape as well as of course this famous mask with long bat ears giving him a perpetually angry expression. Finally, he holds in his hand the famous Batarang”, a kind of black boomerang shaped like a bat.

A new version of Batman

Batman is the darkest and most popular of the DC Comics heroes whose story has been adapted to movies and TV many times. It was adapted by Tim Burton in 1989. In this version, we discover the origin story of the character. He is the billionaire Bruce Wayne whose parents were murdered one night while returning from the theater. The young boy, both terrified and fascinated by bats, swore that he would avenge their death. As an adult, he used his wealth and engineering skills to build a secret lair under his mansion where he built many gadgets, vehicles and weapons to fight crime. He put on his black outfit with a cape and a bat mask and became Batman, a masked crime fighter by night. In this movie, his enemy will be Jack Napier who will also be known as the Joker.
