Beetlejuice carousel hat (Beetlejuice)

A showman of the dead world

For this exclusive figure, Beetlejuice was featured in one of the last scenes of the film when Lydia calls on him to stop Otto from exorcising the ghosts of Adam and Barbara. He distracts the living with a sort of carnival show to better get rid of them behind. Here he wears a black and white striped suit with big black boots. His arms are very long and rolled up like a kind of candy cane. His face is as always very pale with traces of mold and dark circles around his eyes. Finally, he wears a very elaborate hat representing a carousel with monsters instead of the usual animals as well as a skull and a bat on top.

Friend or foe?

Beetlejuice is what he calls a bio-exorcist, whose specialty is to get rid of the ghosts of the living who cause them problems in the movie Beetlejuice. And just so happens, Adam and Barbara Maitland, recently deceased, are having a little trouble getting used to the family that bought their house after their death. Their beautiful country house has indeed been completely redecorated in a modern New York style that they do not like at all. And since they can’t leave the house, Beetlejuice offers his services. But this hustler from the underworld doesn’t seem to be very trustworthy and they prefer not to call on him. But when they in turn are about to be exorcised, Lydia, the young girl in the family who has become attached to them, is forced to call on him.
