Not a very stylish groom

For this exclusive version of the character, Funko has depicted Beetlejuice in the suit he wears for the wedding ceremony with Lydia. It’s a dark red suit, very old-fashioned and obviously a bit too small for him, with a ruffled shirt and a white polka dot bow tie. Moreover, it is covered with a green material not very attractive. At the head level, we find his green hair, his mouth open on yellow teeth as well as his eyes circled with red. Finally, he holds in his hand a cut finger on which is hung the wedding ring that he intends to offer to Lydia.

A malevolent ghost

Beetlejuice is one of the central characters in the famous fantasy comedy Beetlejuice. When the Maitlands die in a car accident, they soon learn that the world of the dead is just another administration and that they will have to stay in their house and haunt it for a while before moving on. Only the New York family who bought their little house in the country is not very impressed by the tricks they try to play on them. Then Beetlejuice, a bio-exorcist, shows up and promises to get rid of the living. They are reluctant to call on him because of his bad reputation and because they are attached to Lydia, the couple’s young daughter. But when Lydia’s parents decide to turn the house into a ghost-themed park and use a book to summon them that risks exiling them for life, Lydia calls on Beetlejuice for help. But of course this comes at a price, she has to marry him.
