A new ally
Captain Marvel is an important character in the movie Avengers Endgame. We had discovered Carole Danvers in her first Captain Marvel movie taking place in the 90s. She had acquired very powerful powers by accident and after having understood the origin of those powers, she left in space and told Nick Fury that he should contact her only in case of force majeure. At the end of the movie Infinity War, when everyone starts to leave in dust after the snap of Thanos, Nick Fury has just enough time to send her a message. She joins the Avengers and, thanks to her powers, they think they can go and attack Thanos directly on his planet to get the gauntlet and reverse his actions. But Thanos has already destroyed the stones. Five years later, Carol helps the remaining Avengers do their best to keep the peace and help the survivors. Eventually the Avengers come up with a plan to go back in time and retrieve the stones before Thanos has them. When they find themselves facing a past version of Thanos again, Carol is back in the fight to make sure he doesn’t get his hands on the stones again.
