A cult scene

For this superb Pop Town, Doc is shown next to the City Hall tower, just as it is struck by lightning. We find the red brick building with its many narrow windows and its high door. We also find trees and small lamp posts with details very nicely represented on the front. Finally, we find the tower with its large high colonnades and the famous clock on top of which a weathervane is enthroned. Finally, Doc is represented with his outfit of the evening during which Marty leaves in 1985. He wears brown pants with a beige and black polo shirt as well as a long trench-coat and brown leather gloves. Finally, we find his characteristic mass of white hair.

An idea of genius

Doc, whose real name is Emmett Brown, is the eccentric but genius scientist who invents a time machine using a DeLorean in the movie Back to the Future. At the beginning of the movie, he demonstrates it to his young friend Marty McFly but things go wrong when the terrorists from whom he stole plutonium find him. Doc is injured and in a panic, Marty flees with the car set to transport him to 1955. Once there, Marty finds young Doc and convinces him of his story and asks for his help. The problem is finding a way to provide the power to travel back in time. Fortunately, Marty remembers that in one week, lightning is supposed to strike the City Hall tower. Doc only has to find a way to use the electricity produced.
