An eccentric inventor

Doc is represented here as a young version in the scene where he meets Marty for the first time. He is testing a helmet that is supposed to allow him to read the thoughts of the other person wearing it. He is wearing black pants with a pink shirt and tie and a long open gray robe. At the level of the head, we recognize his hair already white and a little long and he wears this funny metallic helmet with several branches connected the ones to the others as well as electric wires of different colors. Finally, he holds in his hand the sketch of the temporal convector which is the base of his time machine.

The origins of an idea

Doc, whose real name is Emmett Brown, is one of the main characters in the Back to the Future trilogy. In the first film, he finally manages to invent the time machine he had the idea for decades before. He invites his young friend Marty McFly to come and film the first test of it. But things go wrong and Marty has to run away with the car/time machine and finds himself in 1955. Marty must then find young Doc so that he can help him return to his time. At the beginning, Doc is difficult to convince but Marty tells him where the idea of the time machine comes from that this version of Doc has just had that night. He decides to help Marty and has to be very resourceful in order to find a way to send him back to his own time with the technology of 1955
