A new and more detailed version

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the movie, Funko has created a new version of this cult character more successful and detailed. He still wears his beige ghost hunter suit with big black boots and matching gloves as well as the little patch with his name on it. He also holds the yellow and black box that allows to capture ghosts. Finally, at the head level, he wears his night vision goggles on his forehead and wears a slightly worried expression.

A real scientist

Dr. Raymond Stantz is one of the famous heroes of the cult fantasy films of the 1980s, Ghostbusters. Together with his university colleagues, Dr. Spengler and Dr. Venkman, they specialize in parapsychology and devote much of their research to proving the existence of ghosts. They developed a machine that would allow them to capture ghosts, finally being in possession of the ultimate proof. Having heard rumors of a ghost in the library, they tried to deal with it but it was a fiasco and they were fired. They then form a ghost hunting company that quickly takes off after their first successful capture. Dr. Stantz is the most invested in the adventure, having even mortgaged his house in order to create the company. He is also the one who takes care of the technical part of their machine, he makes repairs and improvements and he is always the most enthusiastic when they meet a spirit.
