Drax with Groot (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2)

An unusual duo

Waiting to regain his adult size, Groot tends to lean on others or to be carried to compensate for his small size. That’s how he ends up in Drax’s arms at one point and why he is represented like that for this exclusive FYE figure. We find Drax as always shirtless with this gray skin and red tattoos on a large part of the body. He wears blue pants and black boots and holds in his clenched fists. In one of his arms he holds the young Groot who looks ready to pounce with an angry expression on his face.

The giant and the child

Drax and Groot are two of the main characters in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. After creating their more than motley team to save the galaxy in the first opus, Star Lord, Drax, Groot, Rocket and Gamora are back for new adventures. After sacrificing himself for his friends at the end of the first film, Groot has been replanted and is still a very young child in the new film. This time, while escaping from a contract gone wrong, the team is helped by a man who introduces himself as Peter Quill’s father. While Peter, Gamora and Drax leave with the man named Ego on his planet, Rocket and Groot stay behind to repair the ship but of course both parts of the team will find themselves in danger on their own and will end up saving the galaxy together once again.
