Faith (Buffy The Vampire Slayer)

A sexy slayer

From the beginning, Faith has always worn rather sexy outfits and that’s how she is represented on this figurine inspired by one of her outfits often seen in promo pictures and comics based on the series. She wears blue jeans a little wide and coming down low on the hips with big black leather boots. On top, she wears a very short black top barely covering more than a bikini top and thus discovering completely her belly. In her hands, she is holding a crossbow, the favorite weapon of most slayers. At the level of the head, we find her long brown hair nicely curled and her face is rather simple.

The slayer who turns bad

Fait is the third vampire slayer that we meet in the cult series of the 90s, Buffy the vampire slayer. Buffy, a high school student in the small Californian town of Sunnydale, is not a young woman like the others. Indeed, she is the last of a line of warriors chosen to fight vampires, demons and dark forces. There can only be one at any given time, each slayer being awakened” and receiving her powers only when the previous one dies. Only, at the end of season one, Buffy dies for a few minutes before being reanimated but this is enough to wake up Kendra. Buffy meets her in season two and for a short time they fight together. But she is killed by Angel when he becomes demonic again at the end of season two. And this wakes up Faith, who arrives in season 3. As Faith has no family or watcher, she decides to stay in Sunnydale and for a while, she and Buffy become close friends and fight together. One day, Faith kills a human by mistake but contrary to what Buffy might think, it doesn’t make her feel that guilty. This is the beginning of her descent to the “dark side” and at the end of season 3, she fights Buffy who leaves her for dead. Coming out of her coma a few years later, she tries to go after Buffy but finally Angel captures her and decides to give her a second chance at redemption and she turns herself in to the police. In season 7, when the “Force” goes after all the potential slayers, Faith comes back to Sunnydale to join the fight and prove that she is indeed back on the right side.
