Figurines Pop Aragorn et Arwen (The Lord Of The Rings)

The First Meeting with Arwen

For this SDCC 2017 exclusive pack, Aragorn and Arwen are shown during the scene where Arwen first appears in the forest to help Frodo. Aragorn is still wearing his ranger outfit, so it’s a practical, all-purpose outfit. It is composed of clothes of different shades of brown: pants, a tunic, a jacket, a large cloak with a hood pulled back over his head and boots partly covered with mud. He holds a pipe in his hand and a sword is slid on his belt. Arwen, on the other hand, wears clothes that are practical for riding but still luxurious and show her high status among the elves. She wears pants with high dark blue boots. Over that, she wears a long, multi-layered coat with an elegant silver jeweled belt. She also wears gloves that match her outfit and a curved sword typical of elves. On the head, we can see her pale complexion, her pink cheeks and the small cut on her cheek caused by a tree branch. Finally, his pointed elf ears protrude from his long brown hair.

An eternal love

Aragorn is one of the main characters of the trilogy The Lord Of The Rings” adapted from the literary trilogy of J.R.R. Tolkien. We first meet him as the “Great Step” when he saves the hobbits from an attack of the Nazguls when they are waiting for Gandalf imprisoned in Saruman. Aragorn will then lead them to Rivendell where they must meet the elf Elrond and participate in the council that will decide what should be done with the one year of Sauron. There they learn his real name and that he is in fact the heir to the kingdom of Gondor. On the way, Frodo is wounded by the Nazgul and he must get to Rivendell as soon as possible to be healed. Fortunately, it is at this moment that Arwen, Elrond’s daughter, arrives and manages to take him to her father in time. Later, we learn that Arwen and Aragorn are in love and engaged even though Elrond strongly disapproves. He reminds Arwen that although Aragorn is a good man, he will eventually die while she will live forever in sorrow in a Middle-earth that the elves will have left forever.
