Gandalf The White (The Lord Of The Rings)

A warrior Gandalf

Gandalf is shown here in the last movie when he is about to go fight the orcs in Mordor, legs bent and sword in hand. He wears an all-white outfit consisting of pants, a long tunic and a cloak. The edges are elegantly embroidered with silver patterns. He also wears gray boots and a belt holding the sheath of his sword. At the level of the head, we finally find his long white hair and his matching beard.

The ultimate Gandalf

Gandalf the White is the second version of Gandalf that we meet in the heroic fantasy novel and movie The Lord Of The Rings. Gandalf is a powerful member of the order of wizards with unparalleled powers and whose longevity is close to the near immortality of the elves. When Gandalf realizes that his friend Bilbo the Hobbit has been in possession of Sauron’s evil ring all these years, he insists that he bequeath it to his nephew Frodo before Frodo takes too much power over him. Accompanied by his friends, Frodo must go to Elrond’s council with the ring to decide what will be done with it. A community composed of two men, a dwarf, an elf, four hobbits and Gandalf is formed to accompany Frodo to Mordor to destroy the ring. But Gandalf has to fight a terrible Balrog demon in the mines of Moria and he falls into the abyss with the creature and is thought dead. But in the second book and movie, we learn that he died but was brought back to life to become Gandalf the White instead of Gandalf the Grey. Indeed Saruman, whose title was previously, joined Sauron and the title becomes that of Gandalf. He now wears a white cloak and his powers are increased.
