Galadriel (The Lord Of The Rings)

A mysterious character

Galadriel is shown here wearing the dress she wears in the scene where she talks privately to Frodo and tests his resistance to the ring. It is a long white embroidered dress with long sleeves and a simple gold band on the front. She holds the silver vase that allows to pour water in a magic basin and the whole is very finely reproduced. At the level of the head, we find her long blond hair partially held back by simple braids, in the elven fashion.

The most powerful elf

Galadriel is one of the important characters of the literary and cinematographic trilogy The Lord Of The Rings. Galadriel is an elf and the grandmother of Arwen. This makes her one of the oldest and most powerful elves in Middle Earth. She is one of the three to possess a ring of power given to her by Sauron, and, unlike the men, she has managed to resist his evil attraction. She will gather the Fellowship of the Ring during the first book/film in her domain of Lothlorien, after they have lost Gandalf in Moria. She will give them all gifts that will help them later on in their quest and convince Frodo that he must go on alone because the others will inevitably be drawn to the power of the ring at some point.
