Aragorn (The Lord Of The Rings)

Simple Ranger’s Clothing

Aragorn is depicted here in the simple ranger’s clothing that he is seen wearing throughout most of the film. He wears a brown tunic with a very simple belt, a simple coat of the same color and matching mud-stained boots. On his arms, he still wears a piece of red cloth and a nicely decorated piece of leather armor that reminds us that he is a warrior. Like the other members of the community, he wears the cloak and the leaf given by Galadriel but also the pendant given by Arwen as a symbol of her love. In his right hand, he holds his sword and in the other hand, we can see that he wears a ring. Finally, at the level of the head, we can see his medium-length brown hair and his beard.

A king in exile

Aragorn is one of the main characters of the Lord of the Rings and one of the nine members of the community. We first meet him when the four hobbits are waiting for Gandalf in Bree. He observes them from afar and seems threatening but in the end, he will save them from a Nazgul attack and will then lead them to the safety of Rivendell to participate in the council of Elrond. There we learn that he is not a simple ranger but Aragorn, descendant of Arathorn, the last king of Gondor before the line collapsed. When Frodo volunteers to take the ring to Mount Doom, Aragorn is one of the first to want to accompany him. In the course of the story, he will regain his self-confidence and prove his courage, worth and leadership qualities that will lead him to regain his place on the throne of Gondor in Minas Tirith.
